Very frustrating game. Felt as if we were playing against the referee the whole game as well. He gave a penalty against us that never was. denied us a penalty in the last minute when their guy hand balled it in the box, and instead gave us a free kick on the edge of the box. Called fouls on us whenever we made clean tackles and got nothing but the ball. And called offsides against us, when there are no offsides in 7 a side. And lastly the referee played about 10 mins less of the second half with no explanation as to why. Oh and we had no proper goal keeper.
So considering all of that we did okay. But even with all of that we really should have won. It was 2 – 2 at half time, and we were 5 – 2 up within the first 10 mins of the second half. But then we let in a silly goal, and and a couple other mistakes including an own goal by that who shall remain nameless meant that with about 5 mins to go we found ourself 7 – 6 down. But we managed to pull it back besides all of this. A few good things to take away from the match. But even with all this against us we should have won.

Rovers: Andrés – Alex D, Alexandre, Dan M, Fredrik, George K, George S, Iain, Jordi, Marc, Mike L, Paul G, Pablo Me, Rafa A
Good performance against a solid and well organized team.
Rovers didn’t control the match but we had our chances.
There was a lack of connection with midfield players and we couldn’t take advantages of our key players.
A couple innocent mistakes destroyed us with two goals we didn’t deserve. Two opponents were injured and Make Lawlor was sent off so we had to play last 10 min with 10.
Overall, it was a good exercise.

Miscellaneous: Guillaume saved penalty
A great game by the guys today! We dominated a very young, but hard working team. Marky Mark put in the first 3 Goals in the first half and Guillaume made a great penalty save after an unknown player made a poorly timed challenge in the box.
In the second half, George K showed patience and precision with 2 more goals and Aldo finished the deal with another goal for the Rovers.
All in all, the defense played excellent with center backs, Jordi and Federik and right backs, Paul and Max. Also we stayed organized even with so many new faces in the squad. Good work!
